Sustainability is at the core of everything we do at Cogent Forest Products. All wood fibre we supply is sourced exclusively from forests certified under the Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) or the Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC).
Our wood chips are produced primarily from necessary tree thinnings of private timberlands — material that improves overall forest health by reducing competition and allowing remaining trees to grow more vigorously. This approach ensures that our operations actively contribute to better forest management.
