To date, we have exported more than six and a half million metric tons of wood chips and logs and we are proud to be the leading wood chip exporter on the east coast of North America.

We are the exclusive wood chip exporter from the world-class wood chip-exporting facility of East Coast Terminals in Savannah, GA. Ideally positioned in the heart of the abundant US South wood basket, the facility possesses 120,000 metric tons of wood chip storage capacity.

Our southern yellow pine wood chips and logs are produced from the necessary tree thinning of private timberlands in the southeastern United States and are exported for the manufacture of paper&pulp, particleboard, medium-density fibreboard and for the generation of clean, renewable energy in biomass-fired and co-fired power plants. At Cogent, all of our products are Sustainable Forestry Initiative (SFI) and The Programme for the Endorsement of Forest Certification (PEFC) certified.

Every day we are active in the trucking and sea freight markets and we have extensive experience chartering bulk carrier and wood chip carrier vessels, as well as booking thousands of shipping containers.
